Opening a bottle of wine is simplicity itself with the OXO Good Grips self pulling cork screw. All you have to do is remove the foil from the cork, using the corkscrews built in foil cutter, slide the corkscrew over the top of the bottle, and start turning the handle. First of all the non-stick screw will twist into the cork, then as you keep turning, the cork will be pulled from the bottle. Once out of the bottle, the cork is gripped by the corkscrew, so all you need do to extract the cork is to turn the handle in the opposite direction. The OXO Good Grips self pulling corkscrew works equally well on traditional and synthetic corks.
