The OXO Good Grips fat separator is the perfect solution if you like your stock or gravy lean. As you pour your stock in the top of the separator, any lumps or bones are caught by the built in filter. The pouring spout comes from the bottom of the separator, so that once the stock has settled, you can pour out fat free stock.

The clever thing about the OXO Good Grips fat separator is that it comes with a bung for the spout. If the bung is inserted in the top of the spout before you add the liquid, the resulting airlock will prevent any fat from getting in the spout at all. The OXO Good Grips fat separator is available in a large (1L) and small (0.5L) size, and is completely dishwasher safe.
