The Cuisipro Fat Separator works because fat will always separate out from gravy and float to the top. The entrance to the spout is at the base of the jug well below the fat layer. The fat separator has a unique plug which blocks fat out of the spout until fat and gravy are separated ensuring that the fat never slips past you! As the fat never enters the spout you will get leaner, healthier gravy, soups and stocks.

The lid of the Cuisipro Fat Separator is also a fine, heat-resistant strainer to catch unwanted food particles so your gravy will be clear and smooth. 

Once separated the lid can be snapped open to unplug the spout and release lean gravy. Designed with a flip top lid for quick release and an over-sized rim to prevent spills.
