Nothing tastes quite like home made ice cream, and the Kitchenaid ice cream maker attachment is a great way to make it. The generous sized bowl securely fits to your Kitchenaid mixer, and the large paddle locates on and is driven by the beater arm.
The double skinned bowl is non-stick and contains a special fluid, designed to stay cold throughout the ice cream making process. Before use, the bowl must be completely frozen, many people leave theirs in the freezer permanently, possibly with their frozen peas inside!
The Kitchenaid ice cream maker attachment can produce up to 1.9 litres of soft consistency ice cream, sorbet or frozen desserts in 20-30 minutes. Soft ice cream can be hardened in a container in the freezer within 2-4 hours.
Suitable for use with both the Ultra Power and Artisan mixer (sold separately).
The bowl must be washed in warm soapy water, but all other parts are dishwasher safe.
