This 11 x 2 inch pan is extra heavy duty, so you won\\'t get hot spots or warping as you use it on the hob to caramelise the apples before finishing in the oven. Because this pan has such substance, it can also be used to make the crispiest roast potatoes and perfect traditional large Yorkshire puddings. We use it for lovely deep pies, the crust cooked to perfection. Tarte tatin is a very more-ish dessert, so using the greedy-guide the 8-inch will serve six to eight, whereas the 11-inch pan will serve ten, or maybe twelve at a push!
