This grater, designed by Alejandro Ruiz in 1994, is made of 18/10 stainless steel with a container in thermo-plastic resin (PMMA). Designed for use in the kitchen or at the table; the stainless steel grater clips on to the top of the container and is perfect for parmesan. Once you have grated your parmesan you can serve from the container without removing the grater first.

Originally produced in red, blue and white ivory, 2009 saw the introduction of black and white versions as part of Alessi\\'s Acromatics range.

It is not recommended to put this item in the dishwasher.
