Classic All knives in the Classic range are fully forged, the tang fully visible to the heel of the knife. The Classic style is that of three rivets on the handle and a forged bolster providing good comfort and perfect balance in use. The handle is made of a high grade of non-porous polypropylene known as Hostaform-C, and its integration with the tang is seamless making it durable and hygienic. All sizes apply to the length of blades only. Grand Prix II The Wusthof 'Grand Prix II' range of knives are a beautiful combination of style, and functionality. For each knife, the blade, bolster and tang are precision forged from a single piece of highly stain resistant chrom-molybdenum-tungston steel. The single piece forging guarantees strength and balance, while the high carbon content of the steel ensures every blade starts razor sharp, will keep its edge for a long time, and when the time comes, will be easy to sharpen. The handles of the 'Grand Prix II' range are made from a high strength plastic with a special non-slip surface, and have been ergonomically designed to fit safely and comfortably into the hand.
