Alessandro Mendini has had a special and lasting impact on the history of Alessi. Not only is he responsible for several of Alessi's most recognisable design icons, but, in his role as an architect he has designed two extensions to the factory, the Alessi museum and even Alberto Alessi's house.
Mendini's most famous design is perhaps Anna G. Named after his wife, a giant rendition of the corkscrew now stands at the entrance to the Alessi factory.
